Image Tuner is intended to apply changes to batches of image files. Thus, it can save a lot of your time as you can avoid performing the same operation repeatedly.
The application has a straightforward interface, which in many respects resembles that of a standard file explorer. You can use the available tabs to switch from the file list view to the thumbnail view. Moreover, you can have a preview of the selected picture. All the operations are carried out on the left panel. Unfortunately, this function will probably go unnoticed by many users, as this panel looks as if it were solely intended for displaying file properties.
The operations that can be carried out using Image Tuner include resizing, renaming, converting and watermarking. It is a good thing that the program supports opening RAW camera pictures and that it lets you convert between most common image formats. In addition, it can scan a selected disk location and display the images contained there very fast. Moreover, unlike other programs that can edit image batches, this app will do its job very fast and without fatal errors.
In general, Image Tuner is an excellent choice when performing basic changes to multiple pictures. It has a small download size and it is absolutely free to use. However, be aware that during setup you will be asked whether you want to install additional programs.
