Image Tuner is a powerful image editor that allows you to apply multiple functions and effects to your photos and image files, in batches. The program supports editing images files in practically all existing formats including JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, PCX, TIFF, ICO, CUR, WMF, EMF, TGA and even many camera RAW ones. While most image editors that support batch image processing allow you to apply a single effect or an editing function to multiple image files at once, Image Tuner takes the term "batch" more seriously and lets you apply any number of functions and effects to any number of source files with one click. In fact, the program's interface includes two panels: one for the source files list and another for the list of the tasks that will be executed on all the files on your source list. The third panel located at the bottom of the window is in charge of showing you the log information about the executed tasks.

As for the effects, you can rotate, flip, crop, colorize, adjust the bright/saturation/contrast, round the corners and add shadows to your image files. There is also a "filter" option that, in turn, allows you to apply additional effects to them like blur, emboss, edge and several levels of "highpass" and "lowpass". Besides, in all the functions and effects where it is applicable, the program allows you to configure the appropriate parameters like a new size (in percentage, pixels, inches or centimeters) for the resize function, the output format and its specific parameters for the conversion function, or a text/image, opacity level and position for the watermark function. Image Tuner also offers you a "Preview" feature that is very helpful as it allows you to know how any of your source photos or images will look after applying the selected effects and functions, before the program actually does it.
